Master of Crows by Grace Draven
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The only reason i started reading this book was because of the author's another book " The Wraith Kings". Even though it can be read as standalone it is always better to know the world well about which you are going to read.
I am glad that i did that bcs this book turned out to be good one too. Maybe not the best but good enough to made me read the part 2. I usually dont like reading the 3rd person's POV books but the author kept me hooked up with it which in itself was more than enough for me. The book was steady paced but what i missed in it was that it didn't bring me to my edge of seat. It was more like romance among the Mages. The author didn't keep the Mystery of Spy and the Black Mage much, I was fairly certain that both won't speak a word against each other and we can predict it off early in the book itself.
Last verdict: Can be read by Fantasy - Romance lovers but dont expect the book to bring you to the edge of your seat but there are few good twists in it though which will keep the steady pace of the book.
