Review: Emerald Green

Emerald Green Emerald Green by Kerstin Gier
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book was an amazing ending to the series but not the best work of the author.

The parts i liked:

The time traveling part was the best especially how the author linked everything in the end as if all was supposed to be happened the way it happened. Only thing i didn't understand was giving life to James. It would have changed the entire history but it didn't happen that's the only thing which was hard to understand, One life can change the entire history including existence of the time travelers so that part alone was mystery to me and i probably will call it as a "Book Sin".

Xemerius was my most favorite character in the entire book, he was just amazing. Especially all the background commentary was the awesome stuff and i enjoyed it a lot.

The parts i didn't like:

The romance section. I dont know may be its because of the book is translated but the romance was the worst part of the book. I didn't gwen that much as well and the worst thing is it was all written from the point of view of gwen.

Characters:

Gwen: The character could have been a whole lot better. She was a hormonal teenager with no maturity of whats so ever.

Gideon: He was more of mystery other than Gwen's constant rambling abt his eyes and how handsome he is.

Xemerius: The only character in the entire book who made the book very much enjoyable..His sense of humor was amazing. If not for him i dont think i would have been able to go through the Gwen's idiotic thoughts.

Final Verdict: The time travel is the best part and if you can ignore the hormonal teenager drama you will enjoy it but the 50% of book contains the teenage drama only.
